               Purpose of this release

=======================================================

Supports new N4 RU models/functionality.

Language Support
----------------
English, German, Spanish, French and Italian supported.

General note
------------
All Edit windows should be closed before the Validation
function is used.

Use Tab to navigate around File access screens instead
of hot keys.

If Tab is used to navigate on edit screens and the focus
on the fields is lost, please close the screen and open
it again.

If any screen element on an edit screen is not visible
because of a missing screen refresh, please close the
screen and open it again.

If External Alarm is selected, please ensure that a GP
I/O line is programmed for this function.

When in the Multicall screen, the first three variable
tones from left to right will have a selection range and
lockout digit as defined at the bottom of that screen.

In VGA mode some validation log messages may extend
beyond the window limits. To overcome this, move the
window off the left hand side of the screen and
extend the right hand edge of the validation log
window to view the message(s).

If you minimise the application when an error message
is displayed then the application can be restored by
selecting ALT+TAB.

Note for Windows NT user who need a dongle
------------------------------------------
For Windows NT a device driver is necessary to use the
dongle. Without the device driver the dongle will not be
detected by the RSS.

The device driver can be found on the WEB on the home page
of Rainbow Technologies. The device driver can be
downloaded from the following page:
http://www.rainbow.com/tech/drivers/index.html

Use the driver listed as: System Driver for Windows NT
(up to and including NT 4.0). Follow the installation
instructions provided in the file Readme.txt.
