 New Features / Notes

===========================================================
NEW FEATURES :

- BASbc04418 - No Feature Indentification for GP640 and GP680/1280

The current problem with the GP640 is that if a programmable button is
programmed for option board, there is no visual or audio indication that the
feature is either enabled or disabled.

The latest change is that if a 'feature' button is pressed to enable that
feature, it generates two single alerts. If the same 'feature' button is
pressed to disable it, a single alert is generated.

FIXES THE FOLLOWING ISSUES :-

- BASbc04831 - Unable to enter text for the alphanumeric search in the contact list &
            delete contact menus

When in contact list or delete contact mneu, enter alphanumeric characters to activate
the search. Delete all of these characters with the left key and press the
previous character key. Now no search characters can be entered and displayed to
continue the search. If the clear button is pressed, the entries in the contact
list is refreshed and the alpha search can be resumed again.

- BASbc04832 - Single entry in contact list displayed twice for PRIME models

If a GP1280 has a single entry in its contact list then the contact name is
displayed on both the first and second rows of the display instead of just
    the first row.

- BASbc05199 - GP680 backlight does turn on for incoming calls

The backlight for the GP680 does not turn on when the radio is ringing or if it
receives a status or data message. The backlight only turns on when the PTT is
pressed to accept the call or any key is pressed.

- BASbc05245 - Deleted Short Data Message displayed on second row of PRIME

For portable GP1280 displays, if a SDM is deleted then it is re-displayed on the
next line as long as it is not the last entry.

- BASbc05246 - GP1280 with SDMs resets when viewing the Data Calls Menu

When a GP1280 model has SDMs stored and when reading and deleting the SDMs very
    quickly, the radio resets.

- BASbc05742 - MAP27 Volume Control not Working for all Radio Models

When the MAP27 volume control command is sent to the radio to change the
volume level and disable the manual control, the radio does not change the
volume level and the volume control is still via the rotary volume knob.

This problem has been fixed in this release and when the MAP27 volume
control command is sent to the radio, the radio's volume is adjusted
according to the MAP27 volume parameters and the rotary volume knob is
disabled. The volume level can be reset to manual control by sending the
appropriate MAP27 volume command. The voice audio level and the alert tone
level are not independent of each other and are treated as the same volume
level. Please refer to MAP27 protocol for MPT1327 equipment (version 1.3)
Section 5.2.2.8.10 for information about volume control.
